Salleigh will:
COBB FIRST - Cobb County has a rich, diverse history - which flourished under the leadership of great men and women. Infrastructure and ground-laying years ago for water, power and land development has been key in Cobb growing incrementally and smartly. The same foundation building is needed now in our Republican party and our community. It's time to put Cobb First; it is time to find Candidates who are Constitutional Conservatives who will remain true to the people who elected them; Furthermore, we believe that all children's lives can be enriched by learning about the rich history of our Country, State, and County. We will institute outreach to our schools to offer classes about our constitution and our history, this must be done without hesitation.
Cobb Elections - Having a great ground game, promoting candidates and running campaigns is imperative. HOWEVER, even if we do all of the right things successfully but we do not have an honest and fair election system – WE HAVE NOTHING. Cobb County MUST have citizens' confidence, transparency, and quality in our voting processes. From top to bottom, we need to clean house. We must insist on transparent processes, equal and fair treatment and paper ballots. And, we must plan for the “what if” scenarios, and budget for legal fees and have conservative counsel ready to fight for our rights – we need to be prepared and we need to start now!

Cobb Citizens - Since the 2020 election Cobb Citizens, never involved in politics before have stepped up wanting to be involved but don’t know what to do or how they can serve our County. Unfortunately, we have seen first-hand how people WANT to be involved but have been discouraged and dissuaded by non-responsiveness of our own party. Our goal is to reach out to individuals, groups, Churches and our schools to make sure that ALL conservatives, no matter what age, race or religion have a home in the Cobb Republican Party. We need to educate the people and expand our focus. We need to pair action plans to talent, and we WILL BE inclusive.
Cobb Leaders - Cobb has been known for conservative leaders. WE, together, must not only hold them accountable, but WE must also have their backs. This is a time of unprecedented attacks and targeting on Conservative Views, Freedom of Speech and Voting Rights. We must stand-up to the attacks; we must remain strong, speak out and take back our County and our Country.
Cobb Conservatism - We believe in the core principles of the Republican Party; the principles should be based upon the precepts laid down by the founders of the United States Constitution and the Bill of Rights and limitations on the powers of government. Individual freedoms and rights, equality under the law and separation of powers among the executive, legislative and judicial branches are paramount. Republicans believe that good government is based upon the individual and that each person’s ability, dignity, freedom and responsibility must be honored and recognized. We must proclaim those principles in all our engagements. We must build our party around these principles. Our community needs to know not only who we stand with, but what we stand for – in all arenas.
Cobb Patriotism - In a day and time that Patriotism is called into question – we must stand up. We must not be afraid to honor our heritage of equal rights, equal justice, equal opportunity, and fiscal responsibility. We must stand with each other in honoring our Veterans and Law Enforcement! We must always remember and celebrate what made America, Georgia, and Cobb County, the greatest place on earth, where we are the envy of the world because of the Freedoms we enjoy!
Future of Cobb - The future of Cobb County is bright. With a diverse citizenry, a center for higher education in the State of Georgia, Cobb's potential is limitless. The same things that have made Cobb great are the same things that will keep Cobb great long into the future.. With the Republican principles of fiscal conservatism, smaller government, individual liberties and responsibilities, a strong national defense, tolerance, inclusivity and optimism, Cobb can truly be an example to other Metro Atlanta Counties on how it's done, and done well. Outreach and grassroots development is a key component of a well-functioning Republican Party of the future! The Cobb GOP can be a true beacon of conservatism.
Getting to Know Salleigh Grubbs!
Salleigh, a 55 year old successful business leader and mother of two grown sons, was born in Atlanta’s Crawford Long Hospital. As the youngest child of J. Milton Grubbs, Jr., a renowned trial attorney, and her mother, Crystobel, who was a model, inventor and entrepreneur, Salleigh grew up in Marietta, Georgia, and graduated from Marietta High School – a true Cobb native who still resides in Marietta.
Having grown up in and around her father’s law office, Salleigh developed an interest in law, completed her paralegal training, and worked in the legal field for years. While furthering her education at Southern Poly and Georgia State, she found a calling in the manufacturing industry. It was during this time that Salleigh saw first-hand the ill effects of NAFTA and the disastrous repercussions of manufacturing leaving the USA. Salleigh saw how trade and energy policies, manufacturing, taxes, land use, and regulations negatively affect the day-to-day lives of American citizens– and how bad policies have led to the need for America-first positive changes.
Salleigh later became a State of Georgia Licensed Realtor. While selling hundreds of acres of land, along with industrial, commercial and residential real estate and setting record highs in sales in Cobb, Gilmer, Pickens and Fannin Counties, she learned the value of owning and managing her own business. Salleigh continued to consult in the manufacturing industry all the while working as a real estate agent and, just prior to the Great Recession, became the full-time General Manager of a local manufacturing company. During her leadership, she used her kitchen-table economic skills she learned first-hand from being a single mother of two sons, coupled with finance training from Georgia State, to not only sustain the business, but grow the bottom line by 400% during the recession. While other businesses failed, she met the challenge of keeping people employed and making payroll each and every week without layoffs. 2013 brought the opportunity of another business venture and Salleigh’s demonstrated leadership skills in business growth, organization, increasing profitability and choosing the right people propelled her into more business success.
At the present time, Salleigh is the GM with day-to-day operating responsibilities of another successful manufacturing-related business in metro Atlanta that provides equipment and services across Georgia and the United States. She is the past president of the Chemical Coaters Association of Georgia and present Treasurer, along with a former Voice of Democracy Judge for the Veterans of Foreign Wars and a former member of the Marietta Middle School SGT. Other current activities include volunteering with the elderly and foster dog program, community chorale, church and civic involvement. Through all of this, Salleigh has loved Cobb County, the state of Georgia and her country and has begun working every day to restore Republican principles, defend freedom and fight for election integrity in her county and state.

Cobb County is in dire need for strong and conservative party leadership to address the needs of the Republican Party and it is with a great deal of pleasure to support and endorse Salleigh Grubbs to lead the party into the future. I ask all Republicans to help and support her campaign for Party Chairman and lead Cobb into the future.
Thank you and Semper Fi.
Bill Byrne
Former Chairman
Cobb County Board of Commissioners
As the Republican Party finds itself in a period of transition there hasn't been a better time to elect dynamic leadership like Salleigh Grubbs.
Salleigh has deep roots in Cobb County as well as a thorough understanding of how to move the party forward. Where others see only stagnation and obstacles, Salleigh sees opportunity. An opportunity to expand the base and push back against outside influences trying to erase conservatives and our longstanding values.
Consider Salleigh for Cobb GOP Chair and select a neighbor who shares your convictions.
Warmest regards,
Christopher Haywood
